1.7701 Structural Cr-Mo-V Steel
Everything You Need to Know About 52CrMoV4, 51CDV4, 1.7701 Alloy Steel EN 1003-3 2006
1.7701 Structural Alloy Steel Description
1.7701 structural steel is hardened not only by Molybdenum but also by Vanadium. The 52CrMoV4 steel can be quenched and hardened. The 1.7701 alloy steel is also ductile. The presence of Vanadium and Carbon helps harden the steel during tempering by forming carbides.
