1.7117 Special Alloy Steel Description
1.7117 special alloy steel is steel formulated primarily to form wrought products. The 52SiCrNi5 steel has a very low density and melting point. It is applied for statically loaded, small and medium-size springs. The 1.7117 steel is a better alternative to the steel grade 51CrV4.
