1.6582 Alloy Steel Description

1.6582 alloy steel is heat treatable low alloy steel. The 34CrNiMo6 steel is known for its toughness and its ability to develop high strength in heat-treated conditions.  The 1.6582 alloy steel has poor weldability due to its temper brittleness. The 34CrNiMo6 alloy steel needs to be pre-heated to a high temperature before being welded.
