1.6959 Alloyed Carbon Steel Description
1.6959 alloyed carbon steel is a type of steel that will operate under load in a specific temperature range – – 40 to 420 °C. The 38ChN3MFA steel belongs to a special type of weldability group known as the NAKS MO3 and is hardly weldable steel. To weld this steel, preheating is a must and welding should be followed by stress relieving.
