It was improved through the use of sulfur. Martensitic stainless steel is manufactured for thermal improvement and has high mechanical properties such as strength, ductility and machinability.<\/p>\n

Stainless steel also has good resistance to air, water vapor, fresh water, some alkaline solutions and other mildly aggressive chemicals.<\/p>\n

    Stainless steel 1.4021 420 can also be welded. Martensitic steel 1.4021 420 is easier to machine than conventional austenitic steel. The heat treatment condition of 1.4021 420 is QT 700 and it should be hot formed in the temperature range of 1100-800\u00b0C.
