What is 1.4122 Stainless Steel Grade
The 1.4122-grade stainless steel is ferromagnetic steel that has outstanding mechanical properties. It also has good corrosion resistance and can be compared to the 1.4016 stainless steel grade for the same.

Why use 1.4122 Stainless Steel
The 1.4122- stainless steel grade is martensitic steel that can be hardened with heat treatment. Due to the high carbon content in the chemical composition, the 1.4122 stainless steel has good mechanical properties. The hardness of this steel grade can be above 50 HRC after heat treatment.
